Bomb, bomb, bomb...bomb bomb Iran. Those were Senator McCain's words during his primary campaign. Now he's criticizing Obama's "muted" response on the election in Iran. Senator Saxby Chambliss is also making similar remarks and even said on Hardball that the people protesting have no recollection of the 1953 US overthrow of the Iranian democracy and that we won't be viewed as trying to influence the election results.
These are the same people that don't know a Suni from a Shia and have absolutely no understanding of the Islamic world and Iranian history. Obama is dead on right on this matter. He supported peaceful protest without stepping over the line giving the hardliners the option of using "evil" America as the catalyst for their unrest.
The GOP should consider listening to Dick Luger or leaving politics at the water's edge.
